A Hindi explainer made from an English prompt: how a credit score works. Made with Voom from this English prompt alone, a hypothetical brief with no link. Narrated in Hindi.

Prompt Explain how a credit score works in India, in Hindi, for first-time borrowers: scores run from 300 to 900, 750 or more is usually seen as good, and three habits raise it: pay every EMI and card bill on time, use less than 30% of your card limit, and don't apply for many loans at once. 45 seconds, calm and encouraging.

How do you make an explainer in another language with Voom?

  1. 01

    Name the language

Write ‘in Hindi’ or ‘in Spanish’ in your prompt, or pick it under Language on the Create page. You can write the brief in English and get the film in another language.

  2. 02

    Pick a voice

Every one of the 20 voices speaks every language Voom offers, with the accent following the language, so one voice can carry all your markets.

  3. 03

    Make one film per language

Each film is written in its language, not translated line by line. For a second market, make a variation with the other language named.

How to explain something well in another language

Written in the language, not translated

A translated script keeps English word order and idioms, and viewers hear it. Voom writes the script in the film’s language from your brief, so the sentences sound as if they were written there.

Local numbers and names

Use the units, currency and names your viewers use: rupees for India, euros for Germany, local bank and app names. Put them in your prompt the way you want them read.

The right script on screen

Text on screen is set in the language’s own script, such as Devanagari for Hindi, Gujarati script for Gujarati, Arabic from right to left, with fonts that cover it. The sample film shows Hindi on screen in Devanagari.

Have a native speaker check

AI voices handle grammar and pronunciation well, but a native speaker should still read the script before you publish, especially names, brand terms and regional words. Marathi, Telugu, Urdu and Hebrew are not offered yet.

Yes. Name the language in the prompt, for example ‘in Hindi’ or ‘a Spanish voice-over’, or pick it on the Create page. If you leave Language on Auto, Voom uses the language your prompt is written in.

Each of the 20 voices speaks every language Voom offers, with the accent following the language, so a Hindi film sounds Hindi and a Spanish film sounds Spanish. Have a native speaker check names, brand terms and regional words before you publish.

Not yet. Voom offers 23 languages; Marathi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Urdu, Hebrew and Persian are among those it does not offer. If you ask for one, the Create page says so instead of making the film in another language.
