How it works
How does Voom turn a prompt into a video?
You write a prompt, and add a product link if you have one. Voom reads your brief and your site, designs a look for this one video, writes the script, records the voice-over, animates every shot, writes the music and renders an MP4.
The seven steps from prompt to film
- 01
Write a prompt
Say what the video is for, who it speaks to and the mood. A sentence is enough. Paste a product link or add images when you have them.
- 02
Choose what is yours to choose
Size, length (or Auto), voice and language, and captions. There is nothing else to set.
- 03
Voom reads your brief
With a link, it reads the site: colours, fonts, copy, screenshots and logo. Without one, it works from the topic and the mood.
- 04
It designs this one film
A palette, type and layout rules made for this video alone. There are no preset themes.
- 05
It writes the story
A storyboard and a script sized to the length. Any number in a product film is checked against your site and your prompt.
- 06
Voice, motion and music
A narrator records the script, every shot is animated to its words, and an original score and a few sound effects are added.
- 07
Checked, then rendered
Every shot is checked and weak ones are redone before the film is rendered to MP4, with captions if you asked for them.
What do you choose, and what does Voom design?
You choose
- The size: 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 or 4:5
- The length, or Auto
- The voice and its language, or no voice
- Captions on or off
Voom designs
- The look: palette, type and layout
- The story and the script
- Every shot and its motion
- The music and the sound effects
- The caption style
What does a video cost?
Every video costs 8 credits plus 9 a minute of video, rounded up. Reading your product link costs nothing.

What does Voom take from a product link?
Voom opens the page the way a browser does and reads what makes the brand recognisable. It uses this to design the film and to check every claim in the script.
- The colours of the site
- Its fonts, or the closest match
- The copy: what the product does and for whom
- Screenshots of real screens
- The logo, in light and dark versions when the site has them
Do the numbers in the film stay true?
Yes. A product film states only figures its sources state. Every number in the script and on screen is checked against the site text and your request, and anything unsupported is left out.
When is Voom the wrong tool?
Voom makes motion graphics: type, shapes, charts, icons and product screens. For filmed footage of people or places, character animation or detailed 3D, a film crew or an animation studio is the better choice.
Questions, answered
Measured on 20 October 2026, films of 30 and 45 seconds in 16:9 took 11 to 26 minutes, and longer films take longer, because every shot is designed, animated and rendered for your film. You can follow each stage on the video’s page, and leave the page while Voom works.
No. Without a link, Voom designs the film from the topic and the mood in your prompt. A link helps when the video is about your product: Voom can then use your real colours, fonts, screens and logo.
Yes. Add screenshots, product photos or a logo, and Voom can place them in the film. They are used alongside anything it reads from your link.
An MP4 in the size you chose, 1080 pixels on the short side, with the voice-over, music and sound effects mixed in. Captions, when you turn them on, are part of the picture.
Yes. Turn on a secret share link and anyone who has it can watch and download the film without an account. Turn it off and the old link stops working at once.
