Terms of service

Last updated 4 October 2026

These terms apply when you use Voom, the service at this website and its app (“Voom”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or making a video, you agree to them. If you use Voom for a company or another organisation, you agree to them on its behalf and confirm that you may do so. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.

Your account

You need an account to make videos. Give us accurate details, keep your sign-in details private and tell us about any use of your account you did not allow; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live.

Credits and plans

Videos are paid for with credits. A video uses a number of credits set by the length of the finished film, as shown on the pricing page. Adding a product uses none. The Free plan makes one video. Paid plans add credits at the start of each monthly period. If a video fails, or you stop it while it is being made, the credits it held return to your balance.

Paid plans renew every month until you cancel. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and then moves to Free, and no further credits are added. Prices are shown in US dollars and may not include taxes, which are added where the law requires. Payments are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund or where we tell you otherwise.

Prices, plans and credit rates can change. A change applies from your next billing period, and we will tell you before it does.

Your content

You keep the rights you have in your prompts, links, images and other material you give us (“your content”). You give us permission to use your content only to make, store and show your videos and to run the service. You confirm that you have the rights needed for everything you give us, including any website you link to and any brand, logo or screenshot in it.

The videos you make are yours to use, subject to the rights of others in your content. We do not use your content or your videos to train AI models. Videos made on the Free plan carry a faint Voom watermark that moves across the picture; videos made on a paid plan carry none.

Acceptable use

Do not use Voom to make content that:

  • infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights;
  • impersonates a person or a company, or misleads people about who made it;
  • is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or harmful to children;
  • makes false claims about a product, a price or a person.

Do not try to disrupt or overload the service, get around its limits or credits, or reach accounts or data that are not yours. We may refuse a request, remove a video or close an account that breaks these rules.

Share links

A share link lets anyone who has it watch and download a finished video without an account. You choose whether to turn one on, and you can turn it off at any time; the old link then stops working at once.

The service

We work to keep Voom available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or by problems outside our control. We may change, add or remove features as the product develops, and we will tell you in advance when a change removes something you pay for.

Voom is provided as it is and as available. AI-made videos can contain mistakes, so review every video before you publish it. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about Voom beyond those in these terms, including any promise that it will suit a particular purpose.

Our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost business or lost data, and our total liability for all claims about Voom is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for fraud.

Ending these terms

You can stop using Voom at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, telling you why where we reasonably can. When an account is closed, its videos and files are deleted as our privacy policy describes.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes about them go to the courts of India, unless the law of the country where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will tell you before a significant change takes effect. We are setting up a dedicated contact address and will publish it on this page.
